Who we are

We are the women of God.

Called by Him to serve.
- Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate
  are an active Roman Catholic community
  of religious women, who profess three traditional vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.
  We were founded by Fr. Honorat Kozminski
  in 1878 after the apparition of the Blessed Mother
  in Gietrzwald, Poland.
- We are religious sisters who made the decision to leave behind what the world has to offer.
  We live amid the world and spread the love of Christ through our actions.
  
  With complete dedication, we work towards the transformation of human society in the spirit of the Gospel. We give all our lives to God by professing three vows chastity, poverty, and obedience.

  Sisters do not get married - Jesus is our one love.
- Poverty
  P O V E R T Y - our priceless wealth

  Sisters don't personally own anything - Jesus is our treasure.
- Obedience
  O B E D I E N C E - our greatest freedom
  
  "To do your will, O my God, is my delight and your law is within my heart." Ps. 40:9
  Sisters surrender themselves - Jesus is our one will.
- "I desire to become one with You, immersing myself like a drop in the ocean of Your essence
  and completely surrendering to You"
